Hi, I’m Addison Medina, the person behind warchildarmistice.org. I built this site to share clear, honest World of Warcraft content for players who just want to play better without wasting time. Everything you’ll find here—every guide, every tip, every update—is written by me and tested in-game.
How It Started
I started playing WoW back in 2007. At first, I didn’t know what I was doing. I made a Night Elf Hunter, ignored half the quests, and got lost in Ashenvale more times than I can count. But even when I didn’t understand the game, I still enjoyed it. The way classes worked, the teamwork in dungeons, and the satisfaction of learning something new kept me coming back.
Eventually, I wanted to do more than just play—I wanted to get better. I started reading forums, trying out different classes, and testing builds. When I couldn’t find a guide that explained things in a way that made sense, I began writing my own notes. Over time, those notes turned into full guides. And those guides turned into this site.
Why I Made This Site
There are a lot of WoW sites out there, but I found that most of them were either full of ads or used confusing language. I wanted to build something simpler. A site where players could find clear answers without digging through pages of filler text.
warchildarmistice.org is a one-person project. I write every word, test every strategy, and keep every guide up to date myself. I don’t post content unless I’ve personally played it, and I don’t recommend anything I haven’t tried. My goal is to make content that’s fast to read and easy to follow—no extra noise, no empty words.
How I Play
Right now, my main character is a Protection Paladin, but I’ve played just about every class at max level at some point. I enjoy tanking the most because it keeps me focused and involved in every pull. I also like healing on my Resto Shaman when I want a slower, more thoughtful pace.
I’ve done Heroic raids, pushed keys into the +20 range, and helped new players find their feet in the game. I don’t stream, I don’t chase rankings, and I don’t sell boosts. I play because I love the game and I write to help people enjoy it more.
How I Work
I test everything I write about. If I’m working on a new class guide, I play that class for hours in dungeons, open world, and group content. If I’m writing about a patch, I read the notes, check the numbers, and run the content myself before publishing anything.
I believe that if a guide doesn’t help people right away, it’s not worth posting. So I work hard to keep things simple and direct. My readers are people who just want straight answers—and I try to give them that.
Outside the Game
I live in Akron, Ohio, where I split my time between writing and casual contract work in IT support. I play WoW mostly in the evenings, and I write during the day, usually with a cup of strong coffee and some background music.
When I’m not playing, I enjoy biking, reading about game design, and taking long walks with my dog, Pike. He doesn’t care about raid cooldowns, but he’s always nearby when I’m writing dungeon tips.
Let’s Stay in Touch
If you ever want to reach out, I’m easy to contact. Whether you have a question, want to suggest a topic, or just want to say hi, send me an email at:
I reply to every message I get from real players. Your questions, suggestions, and even bug reports help me improve the site and decide what to write next.
Thanks for visiting my site and taking the time to read about me. I hope the guides here help you enjoy your game, save time, and feel more confident in whatever you’re doing—whether that’s leveling your first character or tackling a Mythic dungeon.
